ram air kooter,
Read your post. Believe I know your LG HO formula. Is it a nearly 30 option car, with factory cassette listed on the PHS? If so, lets chat

"SALE PENDING".

No kidding. Seems like an extremely reasonable price for a nice looking matching numbers blue 4-speed HO car.

My guess it is an "original" TA dash, but not factory installed in that car. Just like the original carb with wrong date. Means it is a factory original 455 HO carb, not factory installed in that car, hence wrong date?

He also states: REAR AXLE: VERY HARD TO READ, BUT DID SEE CORRECT CODE CMG0072G> CG CODE WAS FOR 3:73 GEAR RATIO BASED ON FACTORY MANUAL.

Question: As I am not familar with 72's formy's with air could you get that axle ratio?

my original 71 ho 7/71 built Norwood car has argent fillers. This car had been sitting in a field for 20 years(the owner was sent to prison).I bought it from this guys father.2nd owner from mid 70's, every single original piece still intact. EVen all the hoses and belts were original production pieces. could it have been changed, maybe, but would have been surprised considering how original every other componant has been.. but as i learned a long time ago, we all think we have original cars and over 40 years a lot can be changed and still look aged as if it was original...

I thought that black Formula was on Ebay a few months ago and only bid up to around $20k (didn't meet reserve). I wonder if this is the same owner.

My thoughts EXACTLY!

The seller is DANGEROUS. (he's been loaded with BAD information)

It NEEDS honeycombs with that dark color & that HEAVY 3 piece rear spoiler will slow it down in the quarter.

Methinks that there is too much air in the springs. (all the way around)

Nice car, nonetheless! (MORE,BETTER pics would help)

Here is an older listing for that car on Kijiji. Check out the picture of the cowl tag. I think I would want to know the rest of the story on that before I threw any money at it.

if you get a response, i would love to no how the dash is worded in phs. my phs on 71 formy doesnt list gear ratio just safe-t-track. next to the vin on phs is color code..would like to see what it says. ive only seen 3.73 in 1970 f body.

I'm pretty sure it's the same car as well, it was on eBay in Aug-Sept. The owner then had the same explanation on the black special order paint being delivered to the dealer in primer and painted at the dealer. I went back and found the old eBay link in an email I saved but the old auction link just went out of date so it doesn't pull up the auction anymore. It was in Pennsylvania at the time so the owner either moved or sold it and it's being flipped now. I started to write this seller on the 1 of 7 A/C cars claim but people hear things like that and it just gets repeated so much they think it's documented fact. The majority of these cars in '72 had A/C so no way only 7 of them came with air. It is a very nice car, and special paint makes it pretty desirable in my opinion so I don't mean to knock the car in any way, but the 1 of X claims are better left off without written proof.

Maybe the guy with the black Formula saw the Rally GA & TA on the invoice and thought it meant Rally gauges and Trans Am dash.
