I have had a few muncies thru the years probably 75 or so and several now ..

but ........ this one has me confused ........ tag says 69 m21 pontiac ..yah ok

its been swapped out of course ... because a 010 case is 65 67 not a 660 case

1 groove input says close ratio ... and look original

fresh black g assket sealer and no gasket is a no no

but the date ?? has me stumped ........

whats your take on the date ?? on the case ........

I have a COUNTER m22 1970 and it has a std stamping

this things strange .... no month code ... and E at the end .. ?? what ??

1965-6 case, dated April 19th. P=Muncie, 04=month and 19=day.
I don't know what the extra character represented.

I typed date ... but meant ...the E after the date I had not seen before
I understand the A B C of later case ID of internal parts ... but the E stumped me
