A note for you guys that may answer some questions...
The 68-69 one piece assembled trunk floor states it will fit 70-72 with the rear section from the original trunk... well... not really. First of all it is a 68 only trunk as far as being correct. The rear section is TOTALY different on a 69, it will need the rear sectioned as you described. Around april of 69 the forward shelf hump was changed to the 70 style. The 71-72's are completely different due to the vent tube assy. A closer match to the late 69-70 trunk is the 70 Chevelle part. If I had the part number, I'd get it to you. You list the 68-72 cowl panel as usable, but for a chevelle. The cowl assembly is not only different because it is a chevelle part, the main difference is it is a 70-72 piece,(not a 68-69) it has several differences from the 68-69 part. Visible scallops on both sides, right at the cowl tag on the drivers side, give it away. The 70-72 lower windshield tabs are longer than the 68-69 pieces by about a half inch. If you use this on a 68-69 you will need the 70-72 tabs. We have documented two very late 69's with this 70 style cowl. One was 07A, the other 06D.

RPF187 is listed as 68-72, Since that windshield locator tab is different on 68-69's and 70-72's, this is incorrect. From the pic it appears to be the shorter 68-69 version. Once again, we have documented 2 very late 69 cars with the 70-72 clip. For reference purposes, we have documented hundreds of these cars. probably 40+ at the shop right now.

Don't feel bad, I was just up at Carlisle and stopped by the PY trailer and forgot to pick one up. I guess I was hypnotized by all the shiny new stuff.....
