1968 Ram Air GTO
posted this in the wrong area earlier.
found a 68 GTO today and got a look from a distance, but that was it. i know a little about 70's, but almost nothing about 68's.I will be trying to track the owner down to talk as time goes by. no one was home today, but will be back. he has a few different Pontiacs so will have more questions as a go. it has Ram Air scoops, but didn't get to open the hood to look inside as he wasn't there and I didn't want shot if he showed up. 68 used a different system than the 69-70 plates? where can I go look for more information about 68's?

Search right here on in the tech section - lots of good info in several threads.
One easy tell - if it has A/C it's not a RA I or II, and if you get a look at the cowl tag it will have to be 05C (if Pontiac plant built) or later to be a II.
