Are you talking about the plastic housings that the two large bolts attach to the ceiling thru?

seat belt shoulder strap hangers
these are the two plastic hangers/housing/clips that the seat belt sits in over the window to keep them from dropping or just hanging down when not in use.

Your '70 should have come with the clips pictured below. Ames sells them for $32 a pair on eBay or thru their catalog. They are clear so no need to paint them.

Is it these pieces. I have those that came with my 72 base Firebird but not sure if it even for a Firebird or for what year. They were in the boxes of parts that come with the Firebird

This pic below, which is on this site ( credit Rockcrusher72) is a late '72 style. In Dec '71 they started putting in the seatbelt warning clusters, and by Jan of '72 the wiring and the new style belts and shoulder strap holders were installed. ( the DOT regs went by calendar year, not model year. In Dec of 1967 a "1968" Firebird had NO shoulder belts, Jan 1,1968 ALL birds had em...GM cut costs that way)

2ND DESIGN
I have standard buckles and November 71 build...that is a cleaner look and no small clip to break or elastic to stretch out....ultimately the 74 and later roof mounted retractors are the best....and yet I prefer the bow style headliner and loop carpet of the early style Firebirds...my 72 even has metal inside door handle trim....where my 76 had cheap chrome plastic....I always felt my 76 was cheapened up from the 70 to 72s....even the 70 and 71 deluxe interior had one piece door panels with carpet and expensive looking map bolsters

you're welcome, the buckle clip Dens posted is actually the same one I posted, it's just kind of hard to see all of it in his pic with the buckle hooked into it.

Good to see they are repro'd. Since they are not a permanent mod and easily put back, I am putting the 72 style in my 71, as I really can't stand the early style, they look terrible IMO
