My daughters first car was a white 78' Chevette. These were built as throw away Sht boxes, but I will say by todays standards this is one of the easiest cars I've ever worked on. You could tear the car apart and put it back together in an afternoon with a few hand tools.
WAY overpriced at $3800 though. I'd say $1200 MAX. We got ours for $200,but it was a WI rustbucket.

Good eye and great catch. Notice the drivers side seems to be covered in a thin layer of green moss.
It appears to be "a little rusty"

I just can't imagine what someone was thinking when they came up with that. It would actually be easier to get into the car with the door closed!

This looks like a pretty decent car to own and got me thinking about it...Until I read that the pics are 20 years old and the seller doesn't want you asking any questions. If you've read the ad, you know all he wants to tell you about it.... and don't even THINK about negotiating the price..

Haha - He "hates to be ruin."

That front fender scares me - there's no telling what kind of damage is behind that.

Funny stuff today. How about that "4x4" trailer?

Especially when you consider that there is no top (or any sign of one) to keep you from jumping right in.

I used to say, "resale red", but all that red is hurting my eyes. This is a best forgotten product of the 80's. The driver of that car probably felt like he was driving a pretty hot car back in the day. I'm sure everyone noticed when he pulled up in that, and promptly tripped over the doors trying to get out. Was the top sawed off, or was this a rare convertible model that needs immediate restoration to factory specs?

No, he's not. He's trying to sell an engine. He'd be lucky to get half of what he's asking.
