It was sold new in Ithaca, NY by Cutting Motors, which morphed into Honda of Ithaca which is located on the same site. This would explain the nasty rustproofing on the undercarriage.

I'd say the engine and engine compartment has been spray bombed as well.
I like it though. That would be a sweet driver.

That was never in doubt, it's obviously been touched up and not so neatly in some areas with overspray. Whoever bought it saw that originality and a tidy up would be worth a lot more than what they paid for it.

Had to jump in on this one. Had a 78 formy that was loaded. Mart. Blue, deluxe interior , 400/4 speed. Had 7k when I bought it. Po had some.minor work done, so was a bit faster than stock. Ask me how I know lol.
Drunk used it as a ramp one night. Insurance tried to fix it, but that didn't work out. Wish I had her now.

My 1st new car was a '79 Formula, WS6 car, 403/auto, T-tops, Nocturnal blue, camel custom cloth interior, and just about every option available.

Miss that car, would like to find another like it, even if it was slow, and a 403.
