I have a new mistress.... (long read)
While I know that such a statement isn’t exactly the kind of thing people typically put out on the internet, I figured that this forum does span a wide variety of topics and usually has a pretty open mind. Plus, it’s not exactly a secret and I thought maybe I could get some constructive criticism from the group and maybe some advice.
Like I said, it’s not a secret so I’m not worried my wife will stumble across this post. Yes she knows. She’s not exactly thrilled about it, but she has been tolerant so far. Of course as the amount of time and money I spend increases, I’m sure that her attitude may change and I’m willing to try to manage that balance. I need to start by saying that I never really planned for this to happen. I was quite happy and thought I had fallen into a situation that was going to be the ‘long haul’. But somehow I did notice my thoughts began to wander and pretty soon I was pretty actively looking for something different, but just as a ‘what if’, not really believing I’d go through with it. I’d exchanged a few pictures here and there, but I wasn’t really serious about most of them. One set of pictures made me seriously consider a road trip to Atlanta for a weekend but our schedules never did line up. I’m not one to look backwards, but I’m sure I’ll always wonder if I made the right choice by not making that weekend happen. I guess only time will tell. And, as many of these stories go, when I had kind of stopped looking, the phone rang. Apparently some of my on-line conversations were still drifting around in e-space along with my phone number. It started innocently enough but over the next couple months my interest began to build and I couldn’t wait for that next e-mail or picture. Eventually I knew that I arrange for a personal meeting and that's when I moved her to FL. Before I go any further I do need to point out that I’m not entering into this relationship blinded by the flash and glamour of some young thing. Quite the contrary in fact. She’s actually older than myself (and my wife for that matter) and is, by today’s standards, a bit on the heavy side. She definitely has a few, (uh, trying to be nice?..) unique things going on, and a fair share of faults. But if you can see through those, I think you’ll agree that she’s got some nice…umm…assets. So, if you’ve read this far, I’m guessing you might be interested in seeing just what I deem worthy of what will undoubtedly be a future of headaches and frustration. I might as well post some pictures, but don’t get in a big rush. I thought I’d draw out the anticipation and reveal a little bit at a time. Sort of a strip tease if you will. (By the way, I know I’ve talked a few of you privately about this, so don’t give away too much if you already know where this is going..) Everyone, meet Bonnie.

(OK, so that’s a picture of Bonnie Raitt, who has absolutely nothing to do with the above story, but I felt I had to put at least one such picture up here first).
Where to start?.... Well, she was born in Arlington, TX but soon moved out to El Paso for a few years before settling down in Tucson AZ where she’s been for the past 43 years. I think she’s got a nice smile, don’t you? (Look ma, no gaps!)

That AZ sun is can be rough and a lack of adequate sunscreen doesn’t help so she is in need of some TLC. Not to mention a bath and a good waxing..

So, it's tough to say whether she was built for speed, or comfort.

Goatless,
You set a pretty high bar... I'm sure you know some of the pain I'll be going through. (I'm just now learning to appreciate why Bonnie was so popular back in her day...)

And while I think she’s got a great soul, I’d guess some folks might call her shifty…
