My SD got nominated for Hemmings Muscle Machine of the Year
I was quite shocked today when I got my Hemmings Muscle Machines and saw it. So if any Pontiac fans out there feel like voting for Enrico Stein's car, he, his wife Lenora, and I will be honored to have your vote.
Just go to www.hemmings.com/mmoy to vote. Last edited by njsteve; 08-26-2016 at 02:34 PM. |

I just got my October issue yesterday, and for the first time ever (I have been a subscriber for years), I cast a vote - for your beautiful '73 Formula - and was going to come here to create a thread to advocate that others vote for you!! hemmings.com/mmoy Good luck!!

Congrats but personally I love the Z-28 Camaro. That color combo just kills me and since I use to own a 69 hugger orange vert with white interior, top I might be a little bias. Good luck but Im thinking the vet or the kr takes it due to the masses.

My first car when I was 14 was a 1969 Z11 Pace Car Camaro ragtop. Learned everything about cars by taking that thing apart and unsuccessfully attempting to put it all back together. Here I am back 40 years ago (big hair and all!)

Oh yeah, that was the car that gave me nightmares about carburetor fires and tuna salad for years afterward....
Let me explain. I started it up in the garage one day and heard a pop. Then I saw black smoke pouring out of the back of the hood scoop. I quickly rolled it out in to the driveway and struggled to get the hood open. When I did, I saw that the top of the engine was engulfed in flames. I went through two fire extinguishers and it wouldn't go out. Just as the last extinguisher gave its last puff, my mother walks out with a giant bowl of tuna salad in hand, wondering what all the ruckus was about. I grabbed the bowl of tuna salad and dumped it on the fire. It immediately put it out. She was not amused but I was quite relieved. If you ever sampled her tuna salad recipe you would have said that I found a better use for it than its intended one. (Sorry Mom). |

LOL. I was going to say something about Chicago and Mayor Daley and then I noticed you are actually from Illinois! Wasn't Mayor Daley the one who coined the phrase "Vote early and often"? :-) |
