Looks like the guy with the Ford wagon at the motel was a little upset with the Citroen's parking skills.

Thanks for the ride backin time Keith. I know 2 of your photos... 1000 Animals in Lake Placid. And that dam road heading out to the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges. LOL I hated that highway.

And it was great to see a Motion Camaro on the street.

Here are a few more, from the Yenko "Street Scenes" thread:

Check out the vehicle brands in this pic: Studebaker, Packard, Willys, Chrysler, Plymouth. I suppose technically none of these names are still in business:

Am I the only one that finds this picture funny? The addition of the words "frankfurter" and "simply add boiling water" are ironic to me:

Is this an out take from the movie "Joe Dirt"?
Holy Cow! What a Mullett!, Looks Like a Cross between Billy Ray Cyrus & Ed McMahon
with that tux on.....WOW!

I always wondered why people called Transd Am's "Mullett Mobiles"
And Mullets "The Trans Am Trim"......Guess Now I know Why.

Neat Photo though, I think the round decal on the B pillar was only installed on
the Indy Pace Cars that were actually present at the race track for the
Indy 500, kinda cool, I guess.....Except for the Hair do & Threads

Been a while, but I've accumulated a few more. These are just random street scenes gleaned from the internet.

By way of refresher, here's the rules: if I'm posting it that means there's a Pontiac in there somewhere!

I didn't see a Pontiac in the "Vets For Peace " picture, just a Mustang an Olds and Ford wagon.
One picture you posted was a great one for me to see ( I attached it here). In the background is A. E. England Pontiac. That is where I ordered and picked up my '64 GTO. I ordered it in late January and got it delivered March 28. I believe the address was 6161 Hollywood Blvd.

Great pictures!

Wow.love all the pics, even without pontiacs in them they would be great.I like checking out all the surroundings, buildings, signs. The 'motor court' or 'travel lodge' pics are cool.Newer buildings just aren't much to look at,just like newer cars they lack their own personalities.I take more pics please.

I may have mis-identified the maroon car, OMT. I thought it was a '59 (?) Pontiac.

I also think the black car in the Ford Used car lot is an Olds, too, but I left it in there.

There's a reason they call the good old days the good old days. Excuse me but those photos are so cool, I'll have to turn off the house a/c!

In the Ford used car lot I see a '60 Pontiac convertible. In the picture below the black car is a 60-ish T-Bird, like the one to the left of the Pontiac convertible in the picture above. I don't mean to nitpick, but it was fun looking for the Pontiac's in each picture.

These pics really bring back memories. I grew up in Bolivar, Mo and the 64 GTO that has Dave Goldsberry written on the side of it was one I remember. Dave was a local legend for his fast cars, and this 64 was no exception. It was a maroon with white interior car and was quick. I do know it did not last long on the street, as the car got totaled out and I remember going to look at it behind the local Pontiac dealer and it was totaled almost beyond recognition. Dave survived to become a great dirt track racer as well.
