Thanks for posting. I'm always glad to hear of another great product for our cars. If I may ask, do we know which cars got mesh? Was it based on a radio or interior option and was it only certain years?

I'm not sure of all the applications for the mesh tray, but I think it may be all with the custom interior. My '70 has the custom interior and no rear speakers and it had the mesh tray.

Mesh cover was 70-72 with Custom Trim.....OR it came with standard trim if you ordered a rear speaker in 70-71.

Was ALSO part of the 79 TA TA package

My 73 with a monoral one speaker AM and Custom Interior had what appeared to be the non-mesh type when I got it. It appeared to be as worn and factory original as the rest of the untouched interior. I'm wondering if for '73 mesh was given to cars with rear speakers?

Probably NOT!

I have an unmolested 72 base bird (obviously standard trim) & it came with a rear speaker & cardboard rear shelf....

I think I received it about five weeks after I placed the order.
