After seeing the Regatta Blue ( wrong Color/color change ) 74 455 car bring $65K. Mine's not leaving me for less than $100K. I have the only Yellow NON-A/C one built and it's a survivor.I hope that SD Formula bids to over $80K.

I can't imagine anybody paying 65k for that car. Neat car, but I don't see 65k. If he got it, God bless him. I sold it for 12g,s after I peeled the top, stripped it, repainted it, pulled the engine, etc, etc. Not that it matters, but that seems like SD formula money.

there's a joke between my wife and I.One day at a car show she said to me if it were'nt for me you would'nt have your SD and I replied your write,if it were'nt for you I would have 2.So yes to the 401K plan. I bought this with the intent on selling after 5 years. 14 years later I still have it and like it. But I will sell it for the right money. |

I have the reverse situation. I sold my 1971 hemicuda convertible (a real one) back in 1987 for around $50K, and then moved to Florida where I eventually met my wife.
One day we were talking about what that car is worth today and she made of fun of me for having sold that gold mine of a car. I then said "Well, if I hadn't sold it, I never would have moved to Florida and met you my dear." She gets all teary eyed and says: "So you gave up three million dollars to be with me?" (A wise judge once told me to never interupt him when he was arguing my case for me). My response was: "Of course, dear." :-) |

Sorry Dave, you're misinformed. There is no solid proof as of yet that only 160 455/auto WU3 (Ram Air) Formulas were produced in '74.

OK
My apologies I thought that it had been concluded that 160 was the number. So then we know that 455 auto cars were available with Ram Air we just don't know how many were made. Thanks.
