My 76 has ones like that on the right with no indexing
Just out of interest, what is the dia of the location ring on the middle ones ? Sidenote....... Are you able to shed any light on my 76 Energy Suspension rad core bushing saga Any confirmation of whether 73-74 and 75 use the same bushings as 76 ? Maybe a photo of the mounting of the core support from a pre 76 from above and below the frame rail (please ) ? Cheers

I used a 1970 core support and original mounts. The Ames kit does have the CORRECT biscuits as original, and good size spacing down washers. The bolt set up is way off though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9DtbP4ez2A |

Cool thanks, still battling with Energy Suspension who keep insisting that 76 core support bolts to the top of the frame rather than below as per previous years such as this.
Have provided Vin numbers, photos, measurements from numerous cars and they still insist that 76 is the same as 77 onwards (as their kit lists). I am DONE with them. Today their rep told me their Expert said in 76 several engines were available and this could change the core support mounting. Wtf !!!!!!!.

I have an 80 here, and the core support "hung" from the bottom of the subframe. Energy suspension parts are CAMARO, or generic, no matter what they say. I think you need these taller units , but they still mount the same. I added a second video to show the early mounts
good luck! |

The mounting principal looks the same for 76, except the lower bushing is allot thicker ? Have seen this on several 76 cars, although this will not affect anything (apart from originality) as it does not set a height.
77 is definitely different, the core support mounts to the top of the frame, not the bottom and the core support is different as well (does not have to slide over the frame rails, bit sits on top with a filler panel then bolted in below the frame rail I just wish Energy Suspension would amend their year listing to save people grief !!!!. Looks like I will need to order the Ames FS771 for 70-76 which looks like the kit you have, and bin the ES core support bushings Pic of the 76 "thick" lower bushing, and also the "non captive" top plate (same as the 3rd plate in your pic
