Steve is great - easy to find in a crowd too.

Back from MCACN. I had a great time. What an incredible display of cars I've always wanted to see and own. Unfortunately, I could not stay through Sunday so I didn't make it around to meet everybody like I wanted. Several of you came by and it was great to meet and talk with you. The first time I saw the car totally together was at the show. Steve and his crew did a fantastic job with the car. I was very pleased. We were awarded a Gold level award in the Concours Stock Category.

It really was a great experience for me. Below are some of the photos of the car at the event.

The car looks incredible! Congrats on the gold award and getting to the point that you can take it for a drive!

Congrats. The car got a lot of attention especially with the detailing crew around.

No one around the car when I walked by it, but I looked it over good. It sure is beautiful!

Congrats on the award!

It was great to meet you, James, and the car looked fantastic! Hope to see you in Dallas. Bring your kids down and they can run around with my son.

Cheers,
Tim

The car looked great. I brought Enrico (my car's original owner) over to see the line of SD455s. He was quite impressed.

Thank you all for the comments. The detail crew was a bit of a sore subject. They were supposed to come and detail the cars on Friday evening, but no-showed. When they did come it was right as the judges came and they hurried through their job. Unfortunately they were not thorough or good. After judging two of the judges came to me and apologized for having to deduct 2 points for quick detail spray that was down near the rocker panels by the wheel wells that was not wiped off on a couple of places. Live and learn.

Tim, it was very nice to meet you and I'm looking into Dallas for July. I will let you know how it works out.

Jim, the car turned out so nice because it was such a good foundation. Thanks for taking care of the SD for all those years. I will take good care of it going forward.

Steve, sorry I missed you. On my way to the airport, I ran by your car to get a good look at it on Saturday. I saw a giant man, I am assuming Enrico talking with several people and everybody was pretty busy, so I decided not to interrupt. I unfortunately had to get to the airport to catch a flight. We will have to meet next time.

Thanks, James

Sorry I missed you too. Yup, if you saw "the giant" then you saw Enrico. I was probably eclipsed by his presence so you didn't see me in the background.
