It should be in Epoxy primer shortly. There is absolutely no rust left at all.

It's all one color now. Metal work is complete now on to priming and blocking.

Dennis,

I don't think we will make it to the T/A Nationals this year. We are crossing our fingers for MCACN in the Fall.

Yes, Steve and his crew did such a nice job on my blue Formula, I wanted him to restore this one as well.

Ran up to Lincoln for a quick check. The car is in final stages of fitting and blocking. Steve assures me it will be painted within 2 weeks. The panel fit and gaps are superb. It is going to be a beautiful car.

Next photos it will be in white!

Its in great hands for sure. Steve and his better half are good people and love the hobby as well. Look forward in seeing pics after paint.
Cheers!

Very nice. Are you thinking about getting it to MCACN in November?

That is the plan anyway. The car has been accepted already, so we are hoping to move along pretty quickly once everything is painted. I have pre-purchased most of the parts and components that will be needed and they are either already at Steve's or will be arriving shortly. The transmission is completed and the little bit we had to do to the engine should be finished up shortly.

Crossing my fingers.

That would be quite a showing for 73 SD. Heard a BG one will be unvieled too. MCACN is such a great show to attend too.

If you need any detail shots of my car for your assembly process feel free to reach out.

The original owner of my car is going to be mighty confused when he sees two white SD Formulas there.

I am really looking forward to seeing your car! Even if mine doesn't make it in time, I might come up anyway to check out the show. Thanks for the offer for some detail shots. I will probably take you up on that as we progress.
