69 Ram Air pans
Has anyone had experience with the WRP brand Ram Air pans? I'm thinking about installing a Ram Air breather on the standard 69 Goat and read where they are made in the USA and not china. Just curious about their quality.
Thanks.

I'm also interested in the quality of the R.A. pans, hope someone with experience will chime in.

Are you talking about these pans
From this ebay seller:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-GTO-JUD...hTiOQ7&vxp=mtr If so, they are pretty much identical to the original pans. The correct thickness, exactly correct shapes and contours and even the wrinkles in the stampings. We've used two sets of 1970 pans and were VERY happy with them. Good luck! |

The Ram Air systems from Warpath Restorations are the only US made systems that I know of and from what I've seen are very nice. I have a system that I'm getting ready to put on a 70 GTO. You can call Warpath and purchase the kit directly.

I have a repro pan from Ames and it fits and looks great, but I've
seen some repro pans (not sure where they came from) that won't sit flush on the carb airhorn without a bunch of gaskets stacked on top of the carb. |

Charles, I got a '68 RA system from Warpath and the quality and fit is excellent. There is a member on the board who has a direct source for their parts also. Saved me over a hundred bucks.
