Count down to Pypes show
Ok people it’s one day away from the first part of a two part event. Friday June 29th is the cruise and following, the BBQ at the Pypes grounds on Clemens Rd. In Hatfield PA. The second Saturday June 30, is the car shows, 4 shows going on. Pontiac, Mustang, Mopar, and muscle and trucks.
Who is definately going?

I'll be there MaryAnn. I'm leaving home around 6am to at least beat some of the traffic.
 If I can find a diner I'll probably stop and have a quick breakfast in Lansdale. I hate Wawa so anything else will do. If you and Mike have any ideas where to eat let me know. Maybe we can meet and I'll buy.... my treat. How's the 5 Stars Diner on E Lincoln Ave in Hatfield sound?

LOLNo rain is forecast until late next week from what I hear. And we do need the rain. My lawn is burning up. 100 degrees here today. Mind you I'm not complaining. It's far better than the wintery 20 below zero we get where I'm from in Northern NY. Imagine a whole month of below zero temps and not being above the Artic Circle or down in Antarctica.

We were gonna bring the Gramma car but our Jack Russell had another idea.
He was showing off in front of some bitch (literally, the neighbor's little female dog who came over to visit), galloping and then screeching to a halt inches away from her, when he blew out his ACL and tore his meniscus on one of his back legs. He just got out of surgery this evening and we will be picking him up Saturday morning (fingers crossed). That was a $3,000 vet bill we didn't see coming. Ugh! Here's the little stinker in Gramma's car a few years back. |
