Electrical ?
Finally working on the electrical on the '67 GP have problem number one in the dash harness. I have no power to wiper, blower, radio and other things but I have a small half moon shaped connector next to the steering wheel driver side that isn't connected to anything. It has 3 wires going into it, brown, black with pink stripe and black with yellow stripe. One manual shows a pic of a square or rectangle thing pluged into something like this and mounted into a bracket at the lip of the dash, the bracket is there. Could it plug into a circuit breaker? Can't find any other place.
Cary

Don't know what plug you are referring to, but after looking in the 67 shop manual, all I could guess is that you have an open circuit in the Battery feed to the fuse block & Ign switch to cause all of that.
See attached marked up drawing below. Yellow showing wiper & radio wires and Brown showing Blower wiring. Red Circles showing Battery connections needed. Charles |

Cary, the mounting clip kinda sounds like it might be for the turn signal flasher.

Turn key on. Check for power with test light at fuses for said circuits that are inoperative. If the fuses have no power, the Ig switch is prolly bad

Thanks LATECH, out of town now but will try Monday
I'm kinda new at this, can you tell, just to be clear, with the switch in the "on" position there should be power at every fuse, is that correct? Cary

Yes... all but the headlights ,tailights and dash lights (illumination)
The rest of the fuses should have power with the key in the on (run) position. |

Jayhawk you were right, it was for the flasher.
Latech, disconnected the switch, cleaned the terminals and now most everything works, have power on every fuse except the ones you said. Still don't have courtesy lights on the dash from the door jamb switches and oil and temp lights. I have an unused 2 prong female connector with power running to it under the dash with a pink wire and white wire running into it. If i'm looking at the wiring diagram correctly it shoul feed the dome light but there is no dome light on a convertible. I'm thinking I should just tie the two together. What do you guys think? Also I had to do this on the netural safety switch connector with 2 purple wires because it's a 4 speed it was not used. Car wouldn't crank before the two were tied together. Thanks for your help guys. Cary
