I kind of like it. It's not something I would drive, but it's a big improvement over a 1973 Camaro.

Never thought I would say this, but that car would look better with less motor.

Mickey Thompson would be proud.
This car's best showcase would be the Bonneville Salt Flats, not "the track".

That Camvette is a perfect example of how a car can make $40,000 into $4,000.

I think it would look better covered by a tarp.

They probably figured those red wheel liners were good for at least $10,000 added to the price. Can't imagine what they'd expect to get if it were a tri-power. Hell it ain't even a hydramatic.

For that kind of coin, you'd expect this GTO was owned by some notorious rock star, like Grace Slick or something.

LeMans clone?

I'm buying a new set of wheels for my LeMans (Does anyone have any pointers for how wide I can go, front and rear?) and was looking at ebay for ideas.

This "Tempest cloned into a LeMans" really struck me. I was still thinking "Man, I really hate that paint job" as I scrolled down and saw the bench(??) seat; but the chevy 350 really put it over the top.

Those huge oil puddles under the car are what would concern me.

And a column shifted powerglide transmission to boot. This tells me it was born with a Chevy 6 cyl. {EDIT} check that, I didn't notice the description lists a 700 R4.

Being marketed by a Corvette specialty dealer, it kind of explains the Stingray paint theme. Perhaps this is also why they stopped short of a GTO clone, as that would be a conflict of interest.

I'm gonna put it on my watch list to see how high it goes before it fails to meet the reserve.
