Mike M (68GTOconv),

Sorry, but the few pictures I've posted are about the only ones I've made so far.
And right now the GTO is engine-less waiting for a 455

By the way the original color was Flambeau Burgundy.

SGTGTO; I normally dislike white cars, but your is definitely a positive exemption to the rule!! NIce

sgtgto, aren't you the webmaster for the Ultimate GTO Picture site?
The car looks familiar.

Nice! I like the wing, even if it's a '68. It just looks good to me on that body style. Looks 'tough' man! Love the white color with those Centerlines...very clean!

Seee-ya,

Jim.

Thanks for the praise (at the car that is )

erik- most people i know made an exception to their disliking white cars policy when they saw her. My brother is still banned from her because of his anti cameo ivory comments.

Greg- nope, thats not me, i got the car while i was in Iraq during the summer.

tremo- "It just looks bad A$$!!) that was my quote when i saw her. I love the white because i looks... clean. I cant think of any other way to put it either

sgtgto,
Go to this site Ultimate GTO Picture Site and scroll halfway down the page.
You'll see the car that made me think you were the webmaster over there. It looks identical to your's except that he has a white interior and Cragars.
Nice cars.
PS- Thanks for your service to our country and good luck.

Jim,

Thanks. The previous owner had the car painted in 1986 and the receipts that I have indicate that it was indeed shot with base coat and clear coat.

No big plans for it.Just to go through it and have fun with it.It's a repaint from Alpine Blue. The car has hide aways,His and Hers,Parchment interior,Air.I've played with Corvettes and 32 fords. At this point I'm tired of chasing numbers or having the rarest parts, options .I do have a Offenhauser 2 4 manifold if anyone is interested.

MR68, that is a great looking GTO! My parents had a Nightshade Green '68 hardtop that they bought slightly used back in '68 or '69, and I have loved that color ever since.
