Well, if it's not already +.060" it does look like a good core. The carburetor looks like a good core as well from the one picture. Now if we could just get the asking price down to where it belongs, say reduced by $48,500.00, you would have something decent to start with, probably. In 1982, I bought a car with that exact engine in it for $1500.00. It came with a 1970 1/2 Trans Am attached with it, a Muncie 4-speed and factory air in running/driving condition. Those were the days, I guess.

That Weaver Family 1970 400 Ram Air III engine listing had been at $12,500, and they then re-list it at 50K.

IIRC they also once had a set of NOS 1970-1973 Firebird 1/4 panels at 4K which they later re-listed at 10K.
