Default My first 70's A Body

While looking for a good driver I saw an add for a 73 Grand Am. Having always liked those cars since riding in one in high school I figured why not have a look. When I arrived and saw the car, I couldn't help but buy it.

It's not quite driver ready yet since it has sat for 12 years but it is a one owner car that was well looked after, always garaged and then just parked when it became less than perfect. The owner was meticulous and just didn't want to drive it when it started to show wear.

It's 400, turbo 400, dual exhaust with 3:42 posi from the factory. Not too many luxury options but it came with boxes of spare parts plus the original Rally II's and it is my favorite interior color - oxblood.

I'm hoping to get it started in the next couple days. Right now I've pulled the plugs and soaked the cylinders with PB blaster then turned the engine. I'm thinking new plugs/cap/rotor plus drain the tank and blow out the fuel lines. Hopefully it will fire up and then I will follow through with an oil change.
