I Like the description of this 1971 Grand Safari Wagon

http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5388426902.html

How does this statement even make sense?

This is the wagon version of the GTO "JUDGE"

Yeah, that is a head-scratcher. Another interesting statement from the ad "Interior is white vinyl and original and VERY nice".....but he doesn't see fit to show us any pics of it.

Tough to take a picture when it's full of paneling and pallets

I also question how nice it is since the car has no back window for who knows how long, plus it's full of junk. The interiors on the 70's cars wasn't the greatest for longevity in the plastic, exposing it to the elements and making the car "some knucklehead's grease-wagon" doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Nevermind the grainy photos taken who knows when.

As I've said elsewhere, one of these cars with all the bells and whistles is worth about $1500-2000 in parts minus the engine, and a car as beat up as this one is doesn't get to qualify for much more unless someone is just dying to have it and keep it forever.

I have over $10,000 invested in a very special (1986 Ford F150 4.9 6-CYL) with most parts being replaced with new. All new running gear front and back-end new including new shocks, with 50,000 miles 6 ply tires. New distributor and carburetor. New clutch, master cylinder complete assembly, starter, alternator, water pump, intake, exhaust manifolds new, heater core all new, ect. ect.... You get the idea, virtually all new parts with the exception of the power steering unit and manual 4 speed transmission that works perfectly. Note: with "Davis Ford DUI Distributor" and much more.

Just too damned much trouble to clean the caked mud off the seats...

http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/pts/5415369823.html

This one is similar but with less words. On the sidebar is says they are 62's. (which as far as I know didnt come on 70 Formula's) Ive considered emailing him a couple times and asking if they were roundports. Because if they arent, then they arent the same as RAII's.

Figured its not worth the argument.
