I like the 74..... no bumper nubs fore and aft like next years.... still with notched in roof.... one year only... always thought a 400 Poncho vette would be fun.

I stumbled across this photo from my churches yearly car show a while back. He had a tri-power on it and it was a manual transmission car. The old guy driving it was hooked to an oxygen bottle. I haven't seen him or the car since.

Rear bumper has a seam too... which is '74 only.

Something I'll always remember from my dad's Mustang II: That great design that meant a lost gas cap would create a car that would never look right again. (Who's going to put the time, money and effort into matching paint on "just a Ford?")

'73 - '79 Chevy pickups were the same way (painted body color gas cap).

Fuel doors came in with the 1980 models.
