Paint Job is done.
I' ve received today my '66 burgundy Post Coupe from the painter.
Fenders are cleaned and instead of a rear tail panel there are the PONTIAC letters from a '66 GTO.

Original.... that's the key word Charles. If I ever have the money for it, that's what I'll be doing..... original color.

Did you keep the fins on the front fenders?? Are you putting the tail panel back on??

When I took my tail panel off for the first time, I wasnt sure if I should put it back on. The rear end looked so much cleaner.

The Fenders are totally clean. The reason was, it has a '67 fenders and header panel and i like the '66 front more than the '67. On the rear, there will be no tail panel. I will just put on the P O N T I A C letters from the '66 GTO.

Here a picture from the fender. All the holes are welded, also on the rear tail panel.

67 Tempest Custom In its current state. I could not handle the signet gold interior, sorry.

Using what ever I have on have right now to get her together. There is some stuff from I think the Paddock and OPG and are used or new. either way some poor quality stuff I'm using I'll just have to replace later on down the line. New Harness's from MH are about to give me a head ache so I'll be posting ? about connections, late at night they all seem to look the same.
Found a few box's of parts I was looking for like the 11" booster, rear harness and weather stripping. Still looking fo rthe bos with the proportioning valve.
The booster should be replaced ( has a slight leak) but no cash so I'm going to shoot some paint on this tattered one and it will work for the time being ( what color though?) I'm thinking satin grey.

Chevelle Buckets Rear seat is pontiac.
The 12 bolt is also from a chevelle fitted with moser's and a detroit true track(helical spiral gears) limited slip, KYB's

The console is from a earlier year 65 maybe.
Gas tank is new

Well there she sits, working on her every night for a few hours. Right now looking on how to mount a quarter stick and bending a new front brake line to the passenger side and figuring out what else would be easier with the door and front clip off.

I know what you mean about the gold interior. I painted my lemans linden green and did the interior black. I also painted the interior green, I like the way the color flows threw when you open the door. Good move on putting in the 12 bolt, I did the same with 373 posi, sure beats the 256 peg leg. Keep at it and you should be driving it this summer. Can't wait to see it finished. I found ames and are host to be the best place to purchase parts. What color do plan on painting your tempest?

Satin grey would look good, and then dark tint the back and quarter glass.
