Thanks GMCP
Sometimes you can resize the image, if its a little too large of a file. If its a reeaaally big file to start with, you'll probably need to rescan it in a lower resolution or even black&white. |

Here is build sheet. It is from the top of the gas tank. I like that I can read the stripe color and can barely make out the PQ trans.

Reminds me of how few Pattern Judges we have seen buildsheets for.
Very very few. Probably because so many were built in Baltimore (no sheets). I've got Zone Lot address for 13 991 - out of Arlington Plant. PMD 800 West 4th Street Kansas City Missouri Zone Lot for 24 991 - out of Fremont. PMD 329 Van Norman Rd Montebello California |

I have been trying to research a judge i looked at recently....it is 00040 with a ZBA code and B13XXXX delivered 2/26 in Michigan....can anyone help me out with info on this. It is carousel/black RAIII all there but rough has all the right stuff and under dash hood release, no judge on dash OD reads 15000, interior in stark contrast to exterior is pristine with no spring bulges. very interesting car.

I looked at it also. 01D build date which is the same as mine but the ship date was later than mine. Very nice owner who is excited about his cars.

Interesting to see those "ZSI XX-XXXX" identifiers on the original dealer invoice. Haven't noticed that before.
I think you guys already have pretty well figured out the decode, "Zone Stock Inventory" followed by the Zone Code and a vehicle identifier 4 digit code that apparently identified the car in question while it was in possession of the Zone. No way for me to know if these nos. were only assigned to company cars or if the Zone assigned such a no. to all of the cars it received. I'd call it an "asset no.". In case you didn't notice it, both of those cars were actually put in service for some period of time before PMD sold them off as "used, never titled" vehicles. I say this because it appears they were sold to the respective retail Dealers at some sort of significant discount, indicating that they did not sit idle while the Zone possessed them. Most likely, they were company cars used by an employee of the respective Zones where they were each first delivered and then sold to the retail dealers when the employee was ready for a new company car. instg8ter, that is different from the one you are looking at. It appears to have been delivered to the Zone storage lot 07-992 and sat for a short time (maybe 3-4 weeks) until it was snapped up by a Pontiac Dealer in East Lansing. Can't read the name, but apparently it became Sawyers Pontiac in July, 1970. Zone Stock in this case just means it was not built for a Dealer Order. The "Ship Date" on a Zone Stock car invoice simply reflects when the dealer claimed it. It would have been shipped to the storage lot shortly after it was final assembled. Pontiac Dealers claimed Zone Stock to supplement their own inventory, helped a dealer compete as he could obtain a certain model quickly for a prospective buyer, didn't have to wait for an order to get built. But the dealer price was essentially same as if he had ordered it from the factory. |

That Baltimore PHS has to be B158xxx. The B138xxx production dates are late November and would not be Judge territory.
BVZ: my A/C 4spd "Pattern" Judge is build 02B vin is R139xxx. |
