So is this a site thing or our phones? Today, I’ve been able to come back to the page I was on and even refresh it without logging back in. Yesterday I probably was on 5-6 times and had to log in every time.

I think it's either your browser or internet provider you are using?
I don't have any problems but use Firefox.

Your IP could be changing your address which makes the forum think you are new or not logged in?

(like if I use someone else's computer it won't know me)

It's been doing that for me for weeks now. I don't see how it can be an internet provider or browser issue if people from all over the country, with different internet providers and browsers, are having the same issue. As soon as I put in my email address for them to send a link to reset my password, I'm logged in.

I don't have any problems at all.

What is the 'theme' you are using? (at bottom of page)

PY Online 2015 is what I use.

I did have a problem years ago when they added the newest theme and it really screwed up my browser.

That must be frustrating.

What have you done to try and fix?

Do your cookie settings allow PY (and all other sites) to save cookies?

I get a lot of pop-ups about cookie preferences that never used to happen. Maybe something got switched off in your settings that affected other sites???

I'm on 2017 if I'm looking at the right thing. No problems on other places with passwords either. Weird thing is I don't even have to reset my password or anything, just put in my email address then I'm logged in. I should have to go to my email and click the link to reset it, get redirected here, and do a new password, then log in.

I have no problems at all, and I also am using Firefox. I make it a point to never use Google for anything if at all possible.

I believe that this is a browser setting;
it comes down to url+user name+login if the second two are not associated with the first, or if browser history settings are getting flushed, this will do it every time.

i use a windows 10 and windows 11 computers and each with chrome as a browser.

i use the 2015 theme.

i have not adjusted my cookie settings for years.

i went into clear browsing history and carefully selected site settings as a clear under advanced, i do not want to delete all my cookies for all sites because of just this one.

maybe there is a way to find the py cookie on c:\ drive and delete just that! that's an idea.

any way i flipped my theme to 2017 and back to 2015 as well.

i will log out , close chrome down. then load it again with the flushed cache images and site settings and hope it was one of the site's it flushed. then relog in and see if it takes

thanks

/\ that is an ongoing issue;
It has been around for years, and it isn't specific to you - on occasion you will see members who have appeared to make duplicate posts - that is evidence of them having had this same issue.
