I'm pretty sure the block you have with no VIN is one I sold you. It's been maybe ten years ago.

But they all have broach marks on the front of the block. GM used a very large round broach with replaceable teeth. No one uses this type anymore. Leaves a distinct pattern. The number spacing on the sequence stamp is too close. Just telltale signs for me.

That was mine. I even put muriatic acid the pad with no luck of the vin surfacing. I wasn't able to locate a vin stamp on the trans either. Dates on everything lined up with the car.
