Hey-

My wife and I are planning a move, most likely before the end of this year.

My car, 73 Ventura, is not finished but I want to take it with me.
It'll need some metal work and 8 point bar.
I am not concerned with final body work now.

Are there any recommended shops from Tampa to Naples?

A google search, to my surprise, did not produce many results.

Thanks.

I would join a local car club and ask around as you may find someone who is highly recommended but not internet active.

My car was done many moons ago by Teddies Hot Rods in St Pete. Black paint, came out great. He specialized in bikes but did mine once I got to know him.

There "was" also a body shop called Henry's near the same locale in St Pete. I cannot vouch for the painting capability but they did both quarters. Good work.

These folks did my prior ladder bar / leaf spring floater setup. Yes, a drive though from the "Gold Coast."

Excellent for your roll bar and such.

I'll be moving to Florida and did some checking around and was directed to

http://www.ironstablegarage.com/home.html

I haven't gone to them yet since I'm still up here in CT, but I plan on visiting them before committing to anything.

I am in CT as well, near New Haven.

Thanks for all the feedback, I have no issue driving a few hours to get quality work.
