Is the proper paint for the trunk the black aqua or gray white?
Trying to nail down the proper color for the trunk splatter paint. I think its black aqua spatter. Can anyone confirm?

eastwood
I would use whichever one you personally like best. enjoy and drive to your taste.
I can say I really liked the eastwood spray can grey/black. then I sprayed clear urethane on it. they carry both though. Last edited by JUDGE3; 12-20-2023 at 10:51 AM. |

Both my Fremont 67 GTO and Fremont 67 LeMans used the Black Aqua Splatter Paint.
For the GTO, Ames K122P was used with the largest spray nozzle the paint gun had but the result wasn't big splatter dots but more of a streak. Here are comparisons of the original with the repaint. The aqua color as far as my eyes can tell is the same. |
