Default Tkx trans adapter

Wondering if you guys with the tkx from silver sport are running the cable adapter they provide for you...............mine is leaking pretty good, they are sending a new one with a different gear for me...............not sure if thats gonna be any better than what i have.

So i see american powertrain has a different adapter for this issue, just wondering if anyone is running that without issues.

Thanks

Rich

The bottom is the one I have with my TKO. It is running a pulse generator for my Dakota Digital gauges. No leaks and seems to work good. In retrospect I would have run the VSS sensor for my gauges but I just was not familiar enough with new technology to think about it. Should be fine with no issue.

They all leak. So get either of these and no longer an issue:

I bought the Fortes part but the Modern Driveline for less seems like a similar built item.

Thanks 65madgoat for the info..............i got the one from Fortesparts today..................maybe its just me, but i dont understand why this part isnt part of the trans no matter who you buy it from.............for all the hassel this has caused, could have been prevented with a note saying you need this adapter, which i would have bought then.

Like to follow up with a update in case someone is interested................got the new one in the other day............no leaks, interesting when you compare the two together, they look identical except the expensive one has a o ring on the back side of it...........................kind of reminds you of the minty engine mounts, just a bolt in there and jack up the price.

But so far so good.
