Default Dug These Out 20 Years Ago

Was a total of 12 cars and a ton of parts that had sat God knows how many years. What a job.

Question

Were they way up in the hills up from Dulles?

I went there 24 years ago with Pete Klabo. May 1999 as I recall. VERY rugged location with a lot of cars lying about in the bush. Apart from the fact I thought I might get eaten by some sort of mountain lion or similar, it was a very interesting day.

This should help add some perspective and appreciation for those who hunt out the hard to find cars and parts and then catalog and store them for future sales.

It ain’t always easy, especially when dealing with cars so hidden by overgrown brush or with trees growing directly next to them or sometimes right through them.

Thumbs up 20+ years ago Good Times

Boy can I relate to this,
We would leave on a Friday afternoon and not return until Sunday evening.
It was a weekend event not just a picker's day trip.

So many parts, so many years ago.

Bob,
Thanks for reminding me of some good memories, I hope yours were just as fun!

Looks like it was a lot of work? Is that a 63 Tempest next to Cammer in first pic?

Cars were all sold years ago. Some got restored/driver quality. One is still under going completion.
