60 Pontiac fuel tank sender sources?
Anyone here happen to know of a source for either a new or rebuilt 60 Pontiac gas tank fuel sender? Or happen to know of other vehicles that might use the same unit. Mine is still in the car until winter is over so have no idea what it even looks like for now. Thx much in advance for any feedback. RA

I'm working on a cousin of the P-60; a '59 Buick. While the tanks may not interchange, they're very close. I did part out a P-60 (sold the tank but it certainly was similar in porportions).
I'm using a universal sender on the B-59. I had to alter the vertical bracketry, as the B-59 tank was a bit shallower than the sender's specs said, but after testing the swing of the shortened/adjusted unit, it read correctly from E to F. I'd have to pull my notes to give you specifics (if interested). My car's original sender : |

I followed up a lead given to me and was encouraged by what I found. The guy I talked to said that he used a repro sender for 61-64 full size Pontiacs in his 60 Ventura and it works just fine, been good for about 10 years. I'll probably grab one.
