Pontiac Hemi
Hi Guys, I just spent a good hour typing in our entire venture and clicked below on the manage attachments option to add some picture and it moved me to a new page to start over. Now I'm extremely frustrated so screw it. For now, If you would like to know what's going on with our project you can follow us on Facebook. I have made all of my project posts public. If you don't do fb sorry. I may be back after I cool off Dil

The spacer under the hat is temporary so we could get it going. The barrel valve needed a little clearance.
Someone wanted to know the engine size. This is the MR1 Block and billet 4.50 crank from my 66. 535ci

Dil,
The next time you get timed out after typing a long post, try using the back arrow to go back the the page you just typed. A lot of times it will work. Copy the text before clicking the attachment button if You can remember to, that way You can paste it back on the new page...I hate when that happens too. Nice engine!

Well they (KRE) made 4 pulls so far..... low boost but good numbers, they can’t get enough air into it.

1240 hp @ 7,000 with only 8 lbs of boost, over 1,000 lbs of torque @ 5,200

Well they have a device sitting on top of the intake manifold that should remedy that problem. Looks like from the one tiny picture I can see, they are about 1:1 with the pulleys. We made 28 lbs of boost @ 8000 RPM's with our ancient roots blower. Think what kind of HP that beauty would make at that boost level? Baby steps toward whatever their goal is. Looks great.

You are correct George. 14-71 standard helix SSI blower. But we were overdriven about 18% . Very hard to tell from the pics but it looks like he is running a vintage Hampton Blower? Can't make the pics big enough to really see. My attempt to be humorous was simply to state that they have much more in there obviously, if only making 8 lbs. of boost. And they can certainly get allot more air in the engine, even with a 8-71. Wish them the best.
