1974 Trans Am 455 stock dyno numbers
Here is a question for Pontiac folks to help me with. What are the stock RWH and RWT numbers for a 1974 455 T/A with automatic transmission. I would also like to know the stock head flow for the 4X heads...intake and exhaust. I seem to only fine SD stats for both of my inquiries. Appreciate all help, John

This is not EXACTLY what you are asking for, but I think it will give you a general idea.
This is a basically stock 455, except a slightly more aggressive camshaft and a Performer Intake. Unported "66" heads with huge 114cc chambers, resulting in CR < 8:1 The first set of results were with stock "log" manifolds and 2" headpipes, which then fed into 2.5" pipes and to 3" Flowmasters and then to 2" tailpipes. On the second set, ignore the apparent "loss" below 3600 - I had to ease into the throttle to avoid making the tranny downshift.

John;
keep in mind that the #66 heads are 1971 L75 castings for an engine which had a gross rating of 325hp; Those heads are large valve heads... so stock vs stock they do have a slight edge over you http://www.wallaceracing.com/head1.htm
