Default Piston Ring and Rod Bearing Question

How much power if any would one expect to pick up on a NA engine by changing from a 1/16 dyke ring to a 0.8mm ring with a gas ported spacer. Stock 455 dimensions.

How much power if any would one expect to pick up by going from a Pontiac rod journal to a BBC rod journal.

If that is all you are changing I bet you would have a hard time measuring the difference. You are not going to pick up any power just changing your rod journal from 2.25 to 2.2 . The biggest benefit in doing that is the availability of rods and all the race bearings. Being able to have rod bearings that are .001 undersized is a big help.
