Default 1971 Pontiac Firebird

Selling my 1971 Firebird with original 350 engine and trans. Car was formerly set up with all aluminum 505ci Pontiac engine. Basically removed the motor, trans, ignition and electric fuel pump. Car went 10.30's with the 505. Many upgrades and new parts throughout this car. It has 76K miles, original motor has 52K. The car is rock solid top to bottom with all original sheet metal. Here are most of the upgrades I can think of. New suspension and steering parts. Have Hotchkis front springs, not installed. AGR steering gear set up for new car feel. Global west SFC's. Drilled slotted front rotors and ceramic pads, rear SSBC disc brake conversion. Caltrac bars and new eaton leafs for TA. Adjustable shocks all around. Braided steel brake soft lines. New gas tank with Holley Hydramat 15"x15" installed with #10AN out front bulkhead. No sump or lines showing. New interior top to bottom. Dynamat installed firewall and floors. 3 point modern style seat belt conversion. No cage. Summit fast five allow wheels, 15x10 in rear and 15x6 in front. Have stock flat hood with shaker bolted to it and fiberglass hood with shaker style scoop for clearance with Victor. The car was painted about 7 years ago. The painter tried to mold the nose into the fenders to appear as one piece. Of course it quickly cracked. I had to separate it to restore the front. I will post pics of t his area. Asking 17K or best reasonable offer. 281-389-6150 David Sober Houston area.

Bump for a NICE car! FWIW, I think it was about 15 years ago when I first met David. His cars are always well-built and properly thought out. If I weren't already involved with my own project, I would be buying this car.
