Default 1968 Firebird 400 heater hose insulation.

I need to add this to my Firebird, trying to do some detailing. There should be a piece of foam insulation on the heater hose coming out of the heater core to the water pump. How long is this piece? 4" 6" ?

I have an original one, and it's more like 2 or 2.5 inches, I'd say. Mine's on the hose that comes out from the back of the passenger head going to the heater core. Kind of just over the valve cover.
