Craig, absolutely! I'm not doing any work to the underside, and it's far from perfect everywhere else, so it's a driver with a nice paint job. We'll be caravaning to the TA nats as always and maybe to Norwalk earlier in the month.

Jody, I just may make a pass or two to see how slow a loaded 8.2:1 455HO can run.

The car is looking great. The fact you are getting "geeked" is understandable. I can't wait to see it all together and am particularly interested to see it without a rear spoiler. The Black car had a rear spoiler added on or about its' first repaint and I love the way it looks, but I have had at least one "busybody" here (and Craig won't answer my phone calls ) suggest to me the spoiler should be left off this time around....

Dan, the car is looking like jewelry. I understand your anxiousness.

BWB, you've been trolling Facebook? Your car has been a hot topic. I did notice a remark from Craig on the spoiler. I'm unsure myself.

Paint and body work look great! Love that color and it's nice to see one restored with one of the rare colors like that!

Thanks for the kudos. Darrell and crew deserve all the credit. He'll be working on the GT-37 next. Of course its Canyon Copper too, so he knows how to lay it down.

BWB, I would go spoilerless myself, but TETO (To Each Their Own). They look great either way, but if its not on the build sheet, leave it off this time around. I should talk, haha, with me eliminating the rubber roof and adding Ram Air (scoops cut out by a PO) and telling you not to deviate from original.

Ahh yes whats correct to add or leave on a car. My take on it is if the Dealer or first owner added it Im okay with the change but otherwise I go by the build sheet or phs. Thats just me not saying its right or wrong just how I approach the option list of any car.

Bob, you're such a hater. I am now officially initiating procedures to reposesses that car (as soon as you're done painting it, of course). :-p

Looking great Dennis! The Copper color really pops!

I considered modifying a 3 piece rear spoiler for my Formula. I would remove the mounting studs and bond strong magnets to the underside.
When you get bored of the look, stick on the spoiler, change wheels and tires and Voila'....you've got a different car! Then when show time comes around, back to original condition (with no holes in your quarters or trunk lid) and no one is the wiser. (except you)

Default Light at the end of the Tunnel

Well, Darrell says it'll be ready in the next couple weeks, after the first of the year probably. I can't say enough about the quality work Darrell and the boys do. Doors are on, so are the mirrors, deck lid & filler, tail lights, fenders assembled and ready for bumper and fit up, glass in tomorrow. It's almost done!

Nice pictures and gets me thinking about pulling my Formula all apart (again). I have to admit though its fun to rip around and do a half dozen donuts and not give a hoot.
