Default Compressor mounting bracket

Will someone post a picture of correct compressor mounting bracket for 74 firebird? My car had the brackets but no compressor when I bought it. I would assume that the bracket in my picture is correct, but I do not understand the angled part of it - left side of bracket. If the bracket that I have is correct, how does it mount to the compressor as the angled part of it hits and prevents it from being mounted flat.

Yours looks just like my 69 Firebird bracket. The long slotted part on the right mounts to the head with about a 1 inch spacer. The smaller slotted part bolts directly to the head. The top right recessed hole mounts to a hole in a bracket coming from the intake. The left hole that looks like it had a bolt going through it mounts to a bracket coming off the bottom of the head. The two small holes in the top curved portion mount to the compressor. The 90 degree hole on the left mounts to the muffler coming off the compreressor.

To me it looks like your bracket is bent.

Default Pictures of Compressor bracket

Here are some pictures of a bracket I have. I have never seen one with bent corner like that.

I went out and took a closer look at mine. It is hard to tell installed in the car, but I don't think mine has the bent corner. It does have a compressor mounting hole on that end. If you bent it out, would it line up with the compressor mounting bracket? Or if you cut it off, could you drill another hole in the bracket to mount the compressor?

If you need one instead of trying to straighten that one out, let me know.

The bent part looked like it was made that way. I will straiten it out and go from there. Thanks for all the replies.
