Default MAD DOGS HEADERS

thought i would pass on this info..i run a 1980 lemans with a 505 with kre highports...been running the old indian adventure headers forever, and they 1.7/8 they were a jigsaw puzzle from the day i got them, starter didnt fit, oil filter etc, but for us g body guys that was the only option with a round port head, well i finally got the headers from maddog at the pontiac nationals this year, and due to issues with the car that weekend the plan of getting them on there never happened, after finally getting it str8 that weekend the car went 10.05@134 which is the norm, its gone a 9.98 there at past pontiac events, which im trying to set a baseline, well i finally got them on about a month later and took the car to quaker city,,not the best conditions that day with a strong headwind car went a best of 10.10@132,,but felt very strong until the wind hit it and also had some tractions issues which explains why i havent been there for 4 years,,finally a few weeks later after a rain out on saturday and pittsburgh raceway moving the tnt to sunday i finally got the car out on a good track with decent conditions and no wind,,1st pass off the trailer it went 9.88@136 2nd pas 9.89@136 , no lose anywhere on the track, better 60s and everything. i couldnt have been happier with the new headers, they fit right, no issues with starter or filter and the car with no changes knocked a 1/2 to full tenth off et and picked up 1-2 mph, yes the new headers are bigger 2inch but the design and fit are great, when your looking for a set of new headers for your pontiac, take a look at maddogs, service was good, product was great and now i can go into the winter knowing the car can run 9.80s

I got 2" round port for my first gen Bird and the fit was overall good, not perfect but I was very happy with them. They make a quality product.

I got a set for my 62 Bonneville. I did have to send the passenger side back so Mark could relocate one of the tubes. The steering idler arm hit it when the wheels was turned. Can't remember which way now but he took care of it without any hassle.

I have a 2" coated set for a 67 GTO I would sell for 750. They are gently used. They were awesome but I just dont need that much header anymore.
