Do you know why Indy Cars don't run at Daytona or Talladega?

No question about that. The 10 looked good enough to win Dega.

Well, Danica's move up from 28th place to 27th in the points last week when her main squeeze didn't make the race didn't last long...

After spending most of the race riding around in the back half of the lead lap (so many times the yellow came out to save her from going a lap down), she suffered some damage in the big wreck when Keselowski had a mechanical failure and his car couldn't get out of the way of the pack.

Now, several drivers had problems yesterday and needed to go to the garage for repairs and then returned to the track several laps down. That's what "racers" do. Keselowski came back out 28 laps down. Likewise for Harvick, Johnson and Kahne (and I'm sure several others) - as all of them spent several laps in the garage for repairs.

The Touring Princess was able to drive her car off the track with what appeared to be just some relatively minor damage to the right front end. She never returned and finished 34th.

"While Patrick was never handed anything as she climbed the motor sports ladder, she has never been shy about using sex appeal to enhance her brand and that of her many sponsors, whether it was in one of numerous commercials for Go Daddy or a magazine spread."

The author got it half right --

Without posing and acting in commercials in a provocative manner, Danica would never have been able to get a Cup ride.

Name me one other current Cup driver that had a grand total of 1 win in their entire automobile racing career before their first Cup start...

There are some guys racing Cup that aren't great drivers now - and may never win a Cup race - but they've won more than 1 race in their while EARNING the right to get a full time Cup ride.

The current Cup driver that has run each race this season is 35th in the points. Alex Bowman, not a name that really demands attention, is just 21 years old.

In 2012, he was the ARCA "Rookie of the Year" and won 4 races.

In 2011, in only 2 starts in the ARCA series, he won both races. The same year he was the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Rookie of the Year.

In 2009 he was the USAC National Midget Championship Rookie of the Year and won "DMS Driver Challenge" in a midget.

In 2008 he was the USAC National Focus Midget champion, California Dirt Focus Midget champion with 11 USAC Focus wins.

Bowman gets a 3rd or 4th tier ride with his racing resume and Danica gets a 1st tier ride - and she wants us to believe that she "was never handed anything as she climbed the motor sports ladder"???

That's a good one....

Danica's old car is in 5th place wit Kurt Busch driving. Remember they changed crew chiefs, cars and pit crews.

Oh, and Danica's in 28th.

She was 4 laps down when she hit the wall - not even in the race!

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear...

She already had some of the best equipment and crew that money can buy. It's the driver - not the crew or the car.

But she can still keep a straight face apparently when she claims she was "never handed anything as she climbed the motor sports ladder"...

I still think something was fishy with that Daytona car --

And this year at Talladega, she seemed to have more power than the other cars. Wouldn't be below NASCAR to give her a slightly larger restrictor plate. They are sealed, no one would ever know, except NASCAR.

I still believe they use to play with qualifying, back when Front Row Joe and others would win the pole then sink to 30th by lap 3... (To help sponsors and teams) They could enter a correction factor in the computer for certain drivers to even things up and if that driver had a really good lap, well good for them.

Don't be sorry, we all have different tastes.

If you could shut her up she'd probably be a lot of fun, but nothing would ever be her fault.
