Default Windshield needed with shade band, tinted & antenna

Hi- I am trying to restore my old 76 Firebird Esprit and I need a new windshield. Somehow I got a crack in the bottom corner on the driver's side. The one I have has the shade band at the top & I would like to find a replacement windshield with a shade band. Also it has the radio's antenna in the glass and it looks to have a green tint too. Anyone have an old windshield like this they want to part with?

They are readily available for 2-3 hundred, just do a Goggle search. Their really is no such thing as a tinted windshield as it is against the law and only that top portion is allowed to have any shading

That's interesting...I've never heard that before and I could have sworn that mine was tinted.
So, when your PHS says- "Glass- Soft Ray WS Only or Glass- Soft Ray All Windows"...they're only speaking about the strip at the top as it applies to the windshield?

Default Shadow band is not easy to come across

Yes, they are easy to find with the antenna but not with the antenna and the shadow band. I was hoping someone had a similar old car like mine (1976 Firebird) and would be willing to sell me theirs if they were scraping the parts

They don't seem hard to find as PY has them, Ames has them as well as just about every other supplier. Looks like the windshield can be tinted to 10%

Must be a '70s thing. My '68 windshield is definitely tinted all the way down and then the dark band at the top.

Thank you for helping locate sources for the replacement windshield. I have not had a chance to check into the links suggested but feel certain I have an answer to locating the windshield with a shadow band. I really appreciate your help !!!!!!

Peace,
Mark
