So much for the rumour Hot Rod would be subbed. I think they should have subbed Knitting & Crocheting Monthly

That's a real bummer about HPP. Already have a Car Craft sub.

Interesting.

I thought it'd been posted that Car Craft was one of the Mags to be cancelled with HPP & others by TIME? Perhaps it was Popular Hot Rodding instead?

I had enough history lessons on the GTO and how to restore valve stems. Good riddance to HPP. They did it to themselves.

It wasn't HPP's fault - they were doing pretty well as a niche magazine. It was a problem with the parent company and their distribution that killed HPP and all the other magazines. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=754474

Pretty sad, been reading HPP constantly since I was a wee lad in the 80's dreaming of my own Pontiac someday. I knew things were sliding when the pages got real thin and I could read the whole thing cover to cover in an hour. I dropped Car Craft a few years ago because I'm not into what they are. Hotrod is ok, I subscribe to it for the old articles and pics. Hot Rod Deluxe and Elapsed Times are my favorite. Lots of old stories and pics for us young guys who thirst for the 50s-70s. ET did one heck of an Arnie Beswick spread awhile back, in Arnie's own words. I'm sitting in my garage, looking at my '62 and suddenly feeling a little lonely! At least we still got the forums, I got more help here restoring my car than in a pickup truck full of magazines!

I got a letter yesterday from Super Chevy offering me a low price 2 year sub and a wall clock for being a new Hot Rod subscriber.

I haven't received any other mag yet or any thing saying what I will receive.

Probably get a boatload of these mailers now.

Anyone notice that none of those stupid mopar magazines got cut, however many there are................

You mean the one Mopar magazine that they publish? You may want to chat with the former editor and see what he thinks - chances are he's about as happy as HPP's.

Great, I just sent in payment a few months back for another four years for HPP. I do not suppose I will see a refund ? I am paid up until 2018.
