Default Finally got the Tempest home!!

Well after sitting since 1997, we finally got the 66 Tempest into a storage place worthy of the car. We washed it up at my uncles house but it needs more cleaning inside, and there are some specs of rust coming through the primer. My plan is to have the 72 th400 I bought checked out, then installed and get the motor running and she what condition it's in.

I'm going to repaint it the original Martinique bronze with mission beige top. There's a little rust in the rocker under the trim that needs to get fixed and some surface rust, but the rest is pretty solid. There was a lot of dents that my uncle worked out while he had it. And yea, I can still smell the mothballs lol

That color combo should really stand out next to all the blues, reds and blacks. Great choice IMO.

Man, you guys are making me wish I could get my 66 GTO back to Martinique Bronze. Someday it's gonna happen.
