On another thread about the weather, I said I didn't have it too bad near me. I'm eating those words now. In the past week, it seems like its snowing every other day. I got my car stuck on the way home from work last week after a night shift. I got my wife's Expedition stuck twice when I went too far over into the snow next to the driveway. Had to have the neighbor's help me dig it out. I'm running out places to put all this snow. And I noticed last night that my Lemans, which is covered with a tarp in the driveway, has about 3' of snow piled around it. I can't even see the door handles.

Snow, sleet now. Got stuck this am in a quarry of all places. Loader dumped some aggregate and I dug -finally out. Went to another agg. source-well wasn't much better a fuel tanker cross-wise in the road -iced over-almost over an embankment.so I departed there and now sitting at concrete source. Luckily the 2nd agg source makes anti skid.

I'll contrast the above with this. Was cold....even freezing last week. This week is mostly highs of about 80. Will see a slight dip to 69 or 70 later this week.

Been working the whole wardrobe. I was wearing sweats to bed now I have to run the fan or even a bit of a/c. I put up a new canopy at my dads house monday of last week while wearing 3 layers. This week I will wear shorts while clearing the yard.

Funny sh!t

Only about 75º yesterday.
Today is 82º and my wife and I went Motorcycling for a few hours.

Rest of week supposed to be in the upper 80's.

Glad there is no warming here.

Used to live in SE Wisconsin (2004-2007). Don't miss the snow and cold one bit. Summer is a different matter.

Three weeks ago, on business in NJ all week- lows around 0 and highs around 20.

Two weeks ago, traveled to Panama and Costa Rica. Beautiful there but just a big tease- way too busy to enjoy it.

Last week I was home in Augusta GA and we lost power Tues for a few hours due to all the falling trees... and then it really got bad. Power was out everywhere from Wed afternoon through Fri evening. Ran out of firewood Thurs afternoon and burned old rotton wood and green limbs the best I could that evening. It was cold!!! When the power came back on my daughter and her family moved in for the weekend and we spent most of it cleaning up all the debris.

My power was off again when I left for the airport yesterday. Now back in NJ and woke up to more snow this morning, on top of all the accumulation here.

The only use I've got out of the Lemans for a while- we used the lighter recepticle to charge our cell phones while the power was out. Very handy the way it works even with the ignition off

Wonder what next week will bring?

Been high 80's low 90's for a week. The fire season has officially started here in Az. Very early start!! Been several brush fires next to highways around the area, probably due to cigarette butts tossed out windows. But a cold front is moving in,,, temps dropping to mid/low 70's by the weekend!!! Need to dig out my coat!
