70 Hood question
Is the regular Firebird hood a one year only? Can it be converted to a 70 TA hood? I had a 70 TA hood stolen years ago and am looking to replace it with a correct hood but don't have the $$ these hoods are bring today. I was hoping this would be a low cost option.

Thanks for the link.
After reading, it seems the answer is yes but only if you have a 70-72 donor opening with the correct bracing for a TA hood. |

Correct. And with the subtle differences between the '70-2 hoods, if you are trying to be correct, find the correct year flat hood to start with. Any '70-6 TA hood will work to give up the opening and braces.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to check the back 40 first. See what I can find that's not rusted away.
