Default Fit of aftermarket rear plastic panel vs used

Has anyone used the new rear plastic tail finish panel for a 70-73? I was wondering if the fit is any good, or if I would be better off finding a good used one. Any idea what a fair price would be for a used one?

I've never installed one but just took one off my car. It looked fine on the car and seemed to fit just fine. Only problem is one of the mounting studs managed to pull itself out of the plastic post its embedded in. Someone probably overtorqued it in the past.

Ok thanks. I was originally thinking either a good used, or maybe trying the aftermarket.

Order and ship one to me and you can have my original one. Painted ( Cameo White) ready to go, no damage. Don't know if the originals are worth that much but if so, we can do and even swap. If I need to pony up some $$$, I probably could.

I tried the cheap parts place plastic repro, and I cannot emphasize how crappy it was. Glued together, thin plastic, and not even close to fitting. It was too wide, the contours were wrong, and the studs were not spaced properly. The fiberglass repros may be ok however.

I found a new original GM NOS still in the box for $300.A little more then I was looking to spend, but I decided to pick it up anyway.

That is a fact I forgot to mention. Also I believe thee holes to mount the license plate bracket have to be drilled as well.
