Carpet Fitting and trimming
First, thanks to PY for setting up this section! You guys are a credit to the hobby. Acting on feedback is necessary for growth in any business.
Now my question, I have a 69 Firebird and i'm ready to fit the carpet. Is there a process or can someone with some experience provide insight on how to do it right? Also, input on the fitment of certain brands would help. ACC, OER, Others. Thanks Joe

fit
I'm in process of install as we speak. the rear piece, I used old one for template, installed all bolts, put carpet down and used chalk on top of bolts/studs to mark the spot under as I tapped with hammer. Front a little easier. Dimmer switch hole determined layout, then did same.

Trim parts inc. fit good USA made , you want a fresh one not old as the longer in the box more wrinkles . Lay it in place for a few days , let it sit and relax before cutting anything . Handheld steamer works good if needed .

ACC makes all carpets when You order, no carpets in stock and no wrinkles...
In my opinion they make the best carpets in the industry and are the largest supplier on USA made carpets! Håkan S
