I don't remember where I got mine, but it's too long and will have to be trimmed to remove the kink.

I don't remember where I got mine but I have the same problem. Had to trim and it is still a little kinked. Who makes the best-fitting one?

Default GOOD STUFF

You need to try Jeff Ashen, from Davie, Florida. He does his own hoses and has "originals and pictures of originals" to do the stamping. Hose texture is VERY similar to NOS. He has done several restamps for me. He also sells on EBay as pacecarjeff. Posts here, too, every once in a while. Give him a look. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...+radiator+hose

I do not see it flowing coolant correctally .Anyone have a contact source on jeff ashen.I cant find him.

Thanks Bill - Love your car.

Can someone post some pictures of what problems you are having with the other vendors hoses?
I make all my hoses one at a time special order, and have never had any complaints - but you never know?
Which hose number are we talking about?

Here is my website ---> www.pacecarjeff.com

Too long, had to cut 2-3 inches off the radiator side, other than that satisfied.

Default Rad. Hose

Just installed one from Ames last week. It was perfect. No trimming no kink. Probably one of the few times something was just right.

I had issues when I built my car ('66 3x2 + P.S.). I ordered 3 different hoses and they all fit poorly. I ended up cutting it in the middle and made it work. Unfortunately I cut it a little short and noticed a few weeks ago that the alternator fan has been rubbing on it. I just ordered another hose and when I got it, I remembered how much cutting I had to do to fit it.

I shouldn't have to do it on a 'proper' hose. I have a Griffin Rad, but the outlet is in the same spot as OEM. If I route the hose the way it should be, then it kinks behind the alternator.
